Frequently asked questions

Everything you might want to know about One Church, the app, and how prayer works in our community.

What is One Church?

One Church is a faith-based nonprofit with a simple mission: to unite the world in prayer. We are building a free app where anyone can share prayer requests, pray for others, form prayer groups, and celebrate when prayers are answered.

How can I try the app?

The app is currently in beta. You can join the beta today from The App page, and we will share the full public launch date here and through our community as we get closer.

Will the app be free to use?

Yes. As a nonprofit, our heart is to make prayer accessible to everyone. The app will be free. The work is supported by people who believe in the mission.

How does prayer work in the app?

You can post a prayer request — by name or anonymously — and others can pray for it with a tap. You will be notified when someone prays for you, and when you mark a prayer answered, everyone who prayed gets to share the joy.

Is my information private?

Your prayers are personal, and we treat them that way. You control what you share and whether requests are posted by name or anonymously. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

What are prayer groups?

Prayer groups are private spaces for a family, small group, church, or circle of friends to pray together — wherever in the world each person happens to be.

Is One Church tied to a specific denomination?

No. We are a broadly Christian community focused on uniting believers in prayer regardless of minor doctrinal differences. People from many traditions are welcome.

How can I support the mission?

The most valuable thing you can do right now is pray and tell others. Financial giving will open soon — visit the Give page to learn more, or reach out through our Contact page to partner with us.

Still have a question?

We’d love to hear from you.
